Welcome back, my Loves. đ
Today, I want to speak to the part of you thatâs ever doubted yourself after a setback â the part thatâs questioned whether youâre really âgood enoughâ or âcut outâ for the life you dream of. Weâve all been there. Iâve been there too. And I want to remind you today that failure is not the end â itâs a beginning.
Letâs talk about the art of failing, and more importantly, how to fail forward.
đ Everyone Fails â Itâs Part of the Process
Failure is something every single person on this planet has experienced â whether itâs a failed test, a missed opportunity, a relationship that didnât work out, or simply making the wrong choice in the moment. And if weâre being honest, itâs happened more than once. Thatâs normal. Thatâs life.
But what often happens is this:We fail at something, and immediately our minds go to:
âIâm not good at this.ââIâm not cut out for this.ââMaybe I should just quit.â
Thatâs where many people stop. But I want to invite you into a new mindset â one that says:âThis didnât go how I expected. What can I learn? How do I grow from here?â
đ± Building a Healthy Relationship with Failure
Failure isnât meant to break you. Itâs meant to build awareness. To show you what didnât work so that you can make better decisions next time.
Think about it like this: when you're cooking and accidentally add too much salt, you donât give up on cooking entirely. You remember it, adjust, and improve next time. Itâs the same in life. Whether itâs your career, your passion project, or your personal growth â failure is feedback.
What separates those who grow from those who stay stuck is the ability to integrate that feedback and move forward â stronger and wiser.
đ Failing vs. Quitting
Let me say this clearly:You only fail when you quit.
If something isnât aligned with you, and you walk away from it consciously â thatâs not quitting, thatâs growth. But if you walk away because you're afraid, discouraged, or embarrassed by a setback? Thatâs what holds you back.
Especially when youâre pursuing something you truly want â that inner desire that keeps tugging at you â you need to stay the course. Be persistent. Let your âwhyâ anchor you.
If youâve taken my Dream Life Blueprint course, you know we dive deep into this. Understanding your why is everything. Because when things get hard (and they will), your "why" reminds you why you started in the first place.
âš Are You Really Doing the Work?
Now letâs be real.Sometimes the problem isnât just that we failed â itâs that we werenât really doing what needed to be done in the first place.
I remember being in a class, struggling while watching someone else shine. I felt jealous, frustrated⊠and then I realized â she was putting in way more effort than I was. She practiced, studied, refined her craft. And me? I was just kind of⊠vibing.
That was a wake-up call.
If you want to succeed, you have to be honest with yourself.Ask yourself:
Am I showing up consistently?
Am I doing what actually needs to be done?
Or am I just busy, but not productive?
Because sometimes, we think weâre moving forward when weâre really just running in circles.
đĄ Failing Forward = Growth Mindset
So what does it mean to fail forward?
It means making the mistake â and learning from it.It means falling short â and adjusting your strategy. It means hearing ânoâ â and deciding to keep going anyway.
This is how the greatest people become great. Theyâre not afraid of failure. They expect it, and they use it as fuel. Whether it's in business, creativity, or personal growth â they fail forward.
Think about the story of Thomas Edison (yes, I double-checked â it was Edison đ). He failed dozens of times trying to create the light bulb. But he didnât see them as failures â just different ways that didnât work. And eventually, one did.
đ§ Mindset, Vision, Action
Hereâs the truth I want you to hold onto:
If you can see it in your mind, you can have it in your life.
But that vision requires two things:
Aligned action
Persistence
Doing the work, staying grounded in your vision, and being willing to adjust as you grow â this is the energy that transforms your life. This is how you co-create with the universe.
đ Final Thoughts
So everyone reading this:
đŹ That failed attempt doesnât mean youâre not good enough.đŹ That mistake doesnât mean itâs over.đŹ And that setback? Itâs a setup for your next level.
Failure is not the opposite of success â itâs part of it.So donât shrink back. Donât give up. Donât spiral.Instead, fail forward.
Learn. Adjust. Persist. And watch how life opens up for you in ways you never imagined.
Youâve got this, babe. Itâs law. âš
